The band is currently working diligently on the follow-up to their much heralded EP "Part of the Package" and has the initial cuts of several new tracks already in the hopper.  There's a lot of excitement in the Oatmeal camp about the direction of the new material, which expands on the bands somewhat ecclectic roots, while opening doors into yet unexplored areas.  Last year's addition of bassist Matt Levine has added to an already fertile colaborative environment and, coupled with improved recording equipment and technique,expectations are high within the band.
